*Update* Congratulations Storm!
I fall in love easily. It was a bit of a problem as a teen.
Until I met my hubby.
And then it seemed to be a good trait, for both of us.
It has proved to be a challenge when it comes to shopping.
I just discovered Etsy a couple of months ago. I know. Where have I been?
It was love at first click.
But I found it to be a bit overwhelming.
Until I found the pounce button. Pounce divides the beautiful homemade Etsy products into two categories: Just sold and Undiscovered. And oh, when I have a spare minute or two. I just pounce away.
As Mother’s Day approached a few weeks ago, I was in a bit of a panic about my Mother’s gift. (My mother-in-law got this beautiful bracelet and a biscuit cutter, remember?) But my Mom? Not so easy.
I had one advantage to this huge shopping challenge: she is a collector.
And so, I pounced. A lot.
I found this: Summerpoet Studio. She is a talented jewelry artist. Her specialty? Altered charm bracelets. I found this enchanting bracelet of antique photos of girls and their dolls. My mom is an avid doll collector.
You cannot imagine my delight. I bought it. And then I clicked thru every bracelet SummerPoet had for sale. Simply. Amazing. These pieces are so creative and if you need a gift? The perfect solution. She does beautiful custom work too.

oooh!! The bracelets are my favorite. I like the combination of charms with pictures. I am def a sucker for pics of my kids, so if I were lucky enough to win, I’d want the custom Mom’s bracelet made.
Holy cow, there were a gazillion bracelets there, from children’s themes to politics to hobbies! If I were to win, however, I would choose to send photos of my two girls and my niece and nephew and have her make a bracelet for my mom. My sister and I both moved to Arizona, so now the grandkids are far away from “Oma” and it would be great to give her a beautiful bracelet to keep them with her all the time. Thanks! I must say it is pretty tempting to have a custom made family bracelet.
However, I must admit I REALLY like the Starbuck’s bracelet. Nothing screams caffeine more than getting up every day for work at 5am.
It would be a cute conversation piece and one that would totally surprise my friends because I am not a huge jewelry person.
I love them all, but I especially love yours. I’d choose a custom Mom’s bracelet for sure.
And in the meantime, I think we should place bets on how many gazillion comments you get on this one … (I say, eh … 93.)

Oh I would love the custom mom’s bracelet. They are all so pretty and unique. The one you found for your mom is so sweet, I bet she loved it.
By far hands down the Mom pride bracelet like yours. I saw so many I would love to have, but knowing I could carry a photo of my baby girl who now lives in heaven in a very cute bracelet, would just absolutely melt my heart each day I had it on.
I really like the Felix one, but I’d choose the purple button Sewing one., or a custom mom one. Fun!

So my sister keeps me informed on all the lovely-ness of your blog… and then she told me you were having a giveaway and showed me the starbucks bracelet… I was sold!! So after a good 15 minutes of desperately trying to figure out “How the heck do you comment!?” I stumbled upon this lovely “Leave your comment” section and was completely over-joyed at the slight possiblity of winning a fancy bracelet! I love all of these. they are so unique and soooo grogeous. My favs are the Wizard of Oz and the shabby Roses. My daughter loves the Wizard of Oz. She calls it the Lizard of Woz.

Holy Cow, there are too many cute bracelets to choose a favorite. I like the “Mom Pride” because it would be fun to personalize. My mother-in-law would go ga-ga over the personalized dog bracelet. I was looking for something reminiscent of the shore so I loved the Altered Art Mermaid. Also loved the Jane Austen inspired pieces, Vintage Seed, Bird Lover, Shabby Rose, Bridal and All Hearts Romance.
It’s so hard to choose! I love the Alice In Wonderland and the Jane Austin the best. I found so many more for all the woman in my life!
