I don’t have kids at home anymore, but that idea works for just about anything that is too hot while you are driving down the road. Did it with fries the other day. Love it. Jackie

Forgot to say love the fall decor. I am getting ready to amongst preparing for this yard sale. Thanks for the reminder about the Inspired Room. Couldn’t remember who was doing that. Jackie

yep…I’ve done the same thing! True mom right there!

Along those same lines…you know where the best place to keep your little sleeve of fries in the car is? The little ‘pocket’ where the door handle is…the perfect size!

  13. 13

    No I’ve already “patent” that…LOL!

  14. 14

On the floor, I am on the floor and my three year old is asking why are you laughing SO loud mommy?

  15. 15

    Fan.tas.tic. I love it!

I think I’ll make my kids eat fast food today just so I can try this new trick. I can’t wait to see the look on my husband’s face!

LOL — that’s what I do everytime we’re eating in the car. My husband thinks I’m nuts. VERY glad to see I’m not alone.

I laughed right out loud when I saw this, but think I should be saying “oh yuck!” think of the grease stain left on the car!!! Oh I mean the gross stuff that might come out of the vent and get on the food. You are just too funny and I love how you start my day! Thanks!

  26. 26
    Valarie Lea says:

That must be what Little Logan was doing when he crammed a corn dog in the vents in the back of my car!! Its all so clear now. :)

    Jennie says:

Further proof that you are a genius!

  30. 30

I love it! I’m so stealing the idea because I’m tired of burning my fingers on McNuggets. Let us know if you design a contraption for cooling fries!

  31. 31
    Stefani says:

I am SO showing this to my husband! You are not alone in the craziness! I usually just hold them up there to cool off, but actually sticking them in the vents is awesome! Hubby makes fun of me every time he sees me do this, but I think he’s just jealous that he didn’t think of it first! :)

These looks a lot like chick-fil-a chicken strips…am I correct? Did you by chance get them free yesterday? We have a pic posted yesterday of us enjoying our free Chick-fil-A chicken strips.

Love this idea and will def have to give it a try.

BTW I am sipping some sweet tea right now… two days in a row I’ve gotten it and I think I may have a new addiction!!! :-) I know you understand.

  39. 39
    Nancy says:

    HAHAHAH! That’s awesome.

And bonus, you get a lovely smell (that may make you hungry) every time you turn the AC on for a few days ;)
