It Just Might Come to This

Dear Santa,

I think we might need to put this at the top of the list this year:
If it doesn’t work for my toddler, maybe it will work for me?  One of us needs relief.
P.S. My hips won’t fit, does it come in extra large butt?
Signed,
Desperate Mother

I dunno, it’s so cute – she may start acting up just to get sent there.
Better to turn your pantry into a chokey, ala Raold Dahl’s “Matilda”.

That chair would certainly not remain a time out chair. It’s too pretty!!!

Thanks for your butt comment – I’m going to skip the ice cream tonight.

    LOL!

It HAS to have been designed by a mum!

hopefully it comes in extra larger – these days it seems i need more time outs than the kids!!!

Um, how old is your toddler? Because she seems rather like my toddler. She will never sit in a chair, I can tell you right now. It’s the red hair. She’s feisty. I don’t know how to deal with her type of beast.

I put myself in time out this week….I think I needed more than he did :)

I wish we had that chair when Boo was younger. It would have been a major help around here!

um, where are the straps that secure them to said chair? JK

Very cute!….and feeling your toddler pain.

Must have been designed by a grandma. A mom would have used a chair made out of reinforced steel and would have included wrist and ankle straps for good measure! Ha ha!

Needs a 5 point harness and a cupholder, then maybe, and I do mean MAYBE; Madison would sit in there.

  20. 20

My girly girls would fight to sit in it! My son would think it was torture, though

  21. 21

Oh my gosh where was that 10 years ago?? I used to use a little blue plastic chair for time out and my gf once told me that my son will never have blue furniture! hehehehe

  22. 22

LOL, I need that for my time out queen.

Timeout might just seem nicer if it were in that cute chair!

I never understood why a chair that is used for punishment was so darn pretty!

Don’t let that thing near my house. Princess would get in trouble just so she could sit in that incredibly cute chair.

  26. 26

    Its great

  27. 27

well I agree with you it’s cute..butt it’s not timeout.

My timeout is a corner between piano and wall where the cobwebs would be if “she or he” didn’t always have to visit.

    Ykwim?

It’s adorable… not sure how effective it would be for a kids’ timeout chair. One with extra large butt for me and for my kid a cold, hard chair with chains and shackles.
