Posterific! (Giveaway)

{Stay for a giveaway with 2 winners!}
I love pictures of my children.
All of my children. Together. In one photo.
But if you’re a parent, you know how challenging this can be.
And by challenging I mean the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

(My own).
So, when I capture a rare photo of all three, I want to do something special with it. Like mint it in gold or tattoo it to my……
You know.

I knew this unplanned picture of my kids next to my parent’s pool was something special. But it’s been sitting in my digital photo album since the end of summer.

I jumped at the chance to have this digital picture made into a poster print.
Online Poster Printing is an awesome company where you upload your digital pictures and within 24 hours, you get this:

It blends in so well with the professional portraits in my family room!  My parents saw it this weekend and couldn’t believe the quality. They wanted to know what studio I used to enlarge the professional-looking image!

Isn’t this 16×20 print amazing? The poster prints are very affordable too!
Online Poster Printing is giving two readers a 16×20 poster print just like mine!
Please visit their site and tell me what you would do with your poster print if you win!
You must live in the US or Canada to be eligible for free shipping. If you win and live outside of the US, you can pay for shipping and also enjoy the free product.
I will announce the winners Thursday evening.

Oh, let’s see… I have a romantic candid from our wedding that would look great over our bed. I have a great pic of my kids that would fit perfectly in the space at the end of the hall. Or… oh my. The hard part would be choosing!

  2. 2

i would definitely, most certainly get a poster from the semester i spent in Israel. it would probably be this one i took in jordan of the pillars, they were just amazing and i love the contrast of the columns against the blue sky. :)

  3. 3

Goodness gracious, the prices are AMAZING! I would probably also get a poster of my children, or one of my photos for over my couch. :)

  4. 4

I have a picture of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center that is just beautiful. I would have that made into a poster so I could put it up in my hallway at Christmas time.

I can’t believe how affordable this is!! We are getting ready to paint our “great room” and I am planning to put pictures on the stairway wall with some wall words like you have. I would enlarge a family picture to put in the center. Thanks for the link to this company and the great contest!!

Our niece recently took some of the best, most amazing pictures of our family that we have ever had. We are building a new, bigger house and all I can think of, is where wouldn’t I want to put pictures of my kids and our family! Thanks for the fun contest.

I would use a picture my sister took of our son over Christmas…the best picture we’ve had of him in years. My husband wants it in a 5×7, 3×5 and wallets…a poster size would make his day!

  15. 15

Interestingly enough before I actually saw the examples, I was thinking birthday banners for my 3 and 2 year olds and garage sale signs since my neighborhood won’t allow signs on the streets.

    This IS a great find!

I too, revel in the few pictures I have with all of my kids. I’ve got a cute candid from a recent trip to the park that would be perfect. I love the way you’ve arranged them, and the vinyl saying, too!

  19. 19

I had to laugh at the story at the beginning because just today I tried to take a picture of my boys for a new blog banner pic…and it was a nightmare, and at least created a post with pictures detailing what ended up being a wrestling match.

I have a picture of my 3 boys together in black and white, where the baby is watching the two older boys play a game. I’d love for it to be a poster! Thanks for the chance to win!

  20. 20

Definately the kiddos! But if the prize could wait a few months, I would print out a photo from our upcoming trip to hawaii!

  24. 24

Wow…those prices are amazing! I think I’ll take advantage even if I don’t win, but *ahem* I would like to win! ;)

If I won, I would have a poster made of our family on top of one of the local mountains we like to hike, overlooking the Alaskan skyline. Due to my husband’s service in the Coast Guard, we will be moving next summer and will truly miss the place we came as two and will leave as four.

  25. 25
    Gigi says:

Great stuff! I have pictures of my husband holding each of our kids when they were newborns. I’d do something with them or another picture from when the kids are a little older. The time goes so quickly I’d want to capture one of those moments!

Very cool! I have a picture of my son with our 2 foster daughters from last Easter. Our first foster daughter has since been reunited with her parents so she doesn’t live with us any longer (thankfully we still see her from time to time) but we have the picture of the 3 of them together that I’d love to have enlarged!

Thanks for entering me in this giveaway!

    Debbie says:

I have a ton of photos. It would be really hard to choose only one. I will have to scour our photos and choose a couple and then have the family vote on which one to do…
    no wait…
    I know…
this year is our 25th Anniversary. I could do a wedding photo and then give it to my dh as a gift on our Anniversary.

We have never had an enlargement made of one of our wedding photos and we need one. If I don’t win I guess I will have to dig up the funds for this… I just have to do it now that I thought of it.
    Debbie

I know what you mean about getting everybody in one picture. I have been trying to get my grandkids for months…without them squinting, one of the looking away, etc.

I would love to win this prize and hopefully it would be a picture of them that I would get to use for it.

Thanks for a chance to win and have a wonderful day.

Close your eyes and picture loading up your suburban with 7 kids nicely dressed in Easter outfits for a lovely studio picture. The oldest is 13 and the youngest 1. Now open your eyes and come back to reality and see that this NEVER HAPPENS! This is my life. I would definately use this for a great family shot of the kids for Easter!!!This is exactly what I would do to get a good quality enlarged picture. I am crossing my fingers!!! Thanks, Amy ajayx3@yahoo.com

This is so great. I didn’t even know you could do this. Shows just how internet unsavvy I am. My husband gave me a new digital camera for Christmas…my first digital camera…(we are so with the times, I know) and I would do what you did. Find that rare photo of my kids all together, happy, without bunny ears, and capture it for all time. Even if I don’t win I am glad to have this info…so thanks!

  50. 50

I think I would get one of our beach pics posterized!!!

    Suzanne

  51. 51

I would take a picture that was made of my two younger children and myself on top of a mountain in Alaska …our first Christmas together in many years after a divorce (they go to their father’s every year as per our agreement) and the snow began as soon as we stopped….and it would go over my desk..

  52. 52

I think I would pick a picture from the last time I visited Australia. I love having pics of my homeland around the house and the one I bought home last time they messed up when I got it mounted so it is all crinkly.

  53. 53

I would get a poster print of my 3 girls from right after we brought the youngest home from the hospital the 2nd time. She’s been in and out of hospitals for the last 14 months and it’s been very difficult to get a good picture of the 3 of them together because they haven’t really had a whole lot of time to spend together where Delaney’s not too sick to be held by them.

  58. 58

All I have are 4X6′s of my four and a half month old around the house and we haven’t had time to do professional pictures. I would definitely enlarge one of my favorite pics I took of him!

  59. 59

I have yet to get a professional picture of the 3 kiddos together since our newest addition joined the family 10 months ago (I know…bad Mom!…blame it on lots of digital pictures). I would find or take a great digital photo of the 3 of them together and hang it prominently in our living room.

My daughter was turning 13 and we wanted to do something extra special for her birthday. Of course, sometimes people say we can be a little crazy. I am just glad that I didn’t deliver there. Only two weeks to go!

It’s a hard decision – I would love to have my favorite picture ever enlarged – it’s our family (the 4 of us) walking on the beach and it was taken from behind and we are all holding hands. LOVE it.

But – I really need to get something up in my daughter’s room over her bed and she would adore an enlargement of her with the Disney princesses from our Disney Cruise. Decisions, decisions! :)

This is easy, I would get a poster of my 4 kiddos and place it at the top of my stairs. That space is just begging for a great poster like that.
Kristen, you are too much. How are you able to come up with all these great giveaways.

How exciting! I would have a family beach picture enlarged and hang it in our den, or have a black and white picture of my daugther enlarged.

    Thanks,

Oh how fabulous….so many to choose from though…I think I would get a black and white poster of our family –we had some lovely shots taken last year and I would hang it similar to what you did.

  127. 127

I would have one of the pictures of all 3 of the kids and give it to my wife to put it in her office at work.

  128. 128

I would have a poster print made of my daughter and her boyfriend. The last time I visited her, the walls in the apartment were bare.

At my daughter’s wedding we got a full family picture, a rare commodity since my sisters have scattered themselves all over the country. Sadly, it was our last one as my mom passed away later that year. I would love to get a framable poster of that picture

  134. 134

I would get this cute black and white picture of my 7 month old in a shirt, tie and dress hat.

Thanks for the great website. I will keep it in mind for my moms 50th birthday coming up. Oh I would have to give it to her if I win!!!

Wow! I don’t know what picture I would use. Maybe I would trial one and then order more. I probably would chose a picture of my two kids to print. Unless I can get one of the grandkids and give it to my mom.

Your poster print looks great hanging on your wall.

Is that Together we are Family a stencil or a sticker? I like that, it gives a great touch to the wall.

    NeeNee says:

Your poster turned out great. I love your arrangement with the wall words. I would probably choose a picture of my adorable grandson. I’m always taking pictures of him.

Friends of ours took a picture of all four of us with the fall foliage as a backdrop. I would hang it in the front hall.

  142. 142

What a great find!!! I would definately use it to print a picture of our family when we went offroading (as a gift to my hubby!) Sounds corny, but he would absolutely love it. I typically print the pics of my choice. He’d love it that I picked one of something he likes to do. =) I’m crossing my fingers.

Oh, and I love the stickers too.Very cool.

Wow, those are great! I have been pushing around the idea of getting some larger prints done (I usually do my own, but can only do up to 8×10). I would definitely get one of my 1 year old DS. Choosing which one would be the hard part! =)

  148. 148

Oh my – it just looks perfect there. I’d put mine up in my living room. I need to blow up 3 more pictures so that would only give me one to do. :)
