Who knew I would love vinyl so much?
And I’m not talking about my record collection (because I don’t have one).
I love the vinyl words that adorn my walls. LOVE them.
I can’t tell you how words lift me when I am down. Sometimes it’s all I need.

Very cool concept! I love the monograms and the family names. But what I'd really love to do is get a custom one made from a verse that keeps playing in my head regarding our new baby!
The Lord directs the steps of the godly – Psalm 37:23-24 is one of my favorites. I really like several of them and could spend that $50 real quick!!
How to choose? They are all so lovely. I like the Fancy Scrollwork Monogram because my bedroom is that red color and I think it looks fabulous in her example.

Between the front door "welcome" and the Family Wrought Iron, plus all the monograms, there's just so many great ones. I almost ordered one for our wedding reception and bedroom but an early gift stopped us. Now would be a great time to stock up!

I really like the "Love God, Love Others." It is such a nice summary of a Christian home. I also like the "For this Child…" one, for me it is a promise because we are still praying and waiting for a child.

I am inspired by the "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" lettering for over the crib. My precious little boy is 10 weeks old and I have yet to place anything over his crib because I just haven't found the right thing. But I LOVE this.

Psalm 37 v23,24 Vi…is my choice!! I have a friend that does this too…we brought some over for our Russian walls, but they wouldn't work b/c we are renting and the walls are wallpapered! Mine says Psalm 32:8–we tacked it up—yep, it was tacky, but it reminded us of His promise of counseling us with His eye upon us!!

Never underestimate the power of the Word in your home. I have a quick story!
My son (he was in 3rd grade at the time) attended a Christian school. He had a friend that kept inviting him to spend the night. Finally after months of invites…he made arrangements to go. I met them at school and loaded his dad's truck up with overnight bag and a bike. They had BIG plans for fun all weekend.
That was Friday afternoon. He woke us up calling at 7:00am Saturday morning.
I heard him say…."Dad, can you come get me?" I felt deep concern immediately. My husband never missed a beat. "Yes, son….I'll be right there"!
He knew there was a reason…this kid was not a complainer.
He brought him back home….when we asked why he ended his fun visit so soon. He said.
"They didn't have one thing about God in their home! They told me I didn't need to say ma'am or sir. And that they didn't pray before meals."
He was in 3rd grade! I never realized that he noticed these things. Or that they mattered!
My heart broke for him….as he mourned the friendship that just wouldn't work for him. He would not compromise!
And neither should we!
Our kids are a product of us and our home!
So often, I need to be reminded to 'Be still and know that I am God'. I also loved the one that said family begins at home and the chalkboard circle on the fridge. Very nice! I think there may be too many color choices for me.
