    I've got you beat! I turned 39 on the 12th!! Ughhhh!! It's the last one I'm celebrating and recognizing! ;)
    And if that wasn't hard enough, I'm getting ready to spend 5 days in an African village!! Sleeping on the ground, no indoor plumbing, a squatty potty(aka hole in the ground), and having to kill our own chickens and lamb for dinner. Oh, and eating with our hand only. BUT I couldn't be MORE EXCITED!! I can't wait to share the Good News of Christmas with the villagers!!:)
    Happy Birthday!! I may be a little biased, but I do believe that December babies are the VERY BEST!! ;)

  46. 46

    Well I thought I would be the oldest, but I think Carol has me beat! I'm 51! I still feel 18 in my mind! I said in my mind. My body? That's a different story! All you 30yr olds, hang on. Exercise and eat well while you can! Merry Christmas!

    Danielle

  48. 48
    Jamie says:

    Happy birthday! I'm 36, but having a (step)son in college, a brand new teenage (adopted) daughter, AND a 9yr old make me feel older than any number! Plus, I'm a great-aunt; doesn't that require grey hair and those pantyhose rolled up just below my knees like Mama on "Mama's Family"?

  49. 49

    26!

  50. 50
    shannon says:

    I am 30. Plus 2.

  53. 53
    PS~Erin says:

    37 too. And it does sound old, but the thing is that I don't feel old, so I guess that's really all that matters! I do hate to remember not wanting to watch that show "Thirty Something" bc it was for old people. Ugh.

    Happy Birthday to you!!

  54. 54

    51! But inside I'm 17!

  55. 55

    Oh, and happy birthday!

    March.

    Enjoy your day!!! Don't worry about the numbers…that's all they are anyways.

  57. 57
    Stacy says:

    I turned 37 in July. I too am amazed that it seems so "old" I remember when my mom was my age she had a high school graduate! My oldest is only 7 years old. I think having younger kids keeps me feeling younger.
    I do have to admit that I just bought hair color for the first time. I've had it done at the beauty shop, but that was just for coloring purposes. This home hair coloring is going to be for gray coverage. I can't believe how they are multiplying on my head everyday.

  58. 58
    Superchikk says:

    I just turned 31. Had more trouble with my 28th birthday than the 30th. Weird, I know.

  59. 59
    Olivia says:

    I'm 32 but I still have to be a part of the kid picture at my Grandmomma's house. : )

  60. 60

    43, which is nowhere near old. In fact, my 40s have been my best decade!

  61. 61
    Cindy says:

    I turned 40 this year!

  62. 62
    Linda says:

    Woo Hoo, I am the oldest so far….
    59 and I will be 60 in June! I am thankful for every day of my life. I try to live it to the fullest and always will. No one and I mean NO ONE guesses I am 59 so living young helps. Happy Birthday and we are like wine better with age (or so bitter we can't be drank).

    jmberrygirl says:

    23 going on 50! (I have a chronic pain condition that makes me reach for the icy hot and heating pads quite frequently…) Happy Birthday!

  66. 66
    Sara says:

    I'll be 42 in February. Although I don't have a "real" birthday this year, because I was born on Feb. 29th. So in "real" birthdays, I'm only 10. And I echo those who said their 40s are the best decade so far. They're right. It's far better than my thirties. And I don't say I'm old, I say I'm seasoned. ahem.

  67. 67

    37!!
    and Happy Early Birthday! I hope you have a FABULOUS day!!

  68. 68
    Katie Lewis says:

  70. 70
    Brenda says:

    I have joined the big 6-0 crowd. Age is definitely just a number. I continue to be amazed at how long ago things happened. Wasn't that last week?

  71. 71

    As of TODAY, I'm 31!

    Happy birthday tomorrow!!! I hope you get many non-Christmas-themed presents! :)

  72. 72
    ~~~Alana~~~ says:
    I am 27, but somedays… I feel 50. :) Does that help?
  73. 73
    Tanner's Mom says:
    I'll be right there with ya on January 5th when I turn 37 myself. And you're right, that number does make you feel old for some reason doesn't it? Could it be that it means we're just 3 years away from 40?! As my mother says & my Grandmother used to say "there's something great about every age" so I hope you find it with 37!
    Happy Birthday a day early!
  74. 74
    Leslie says:
    I'm 23 but I've always been a bit of an "old soul." When a young guy walks past me with hair past their ears I fight the urge to tell them to cut their hair ;) and I can't stand loud music with words that can't be understood like rap and hard rock.
  75. 75
    JenT says:
    34 here. Happy Birthday!
  76. 76
    Happy birthday!
    I am 28.
    In June, I will be 29.
    The next year, I will be 29.
    The year after that, I will be 29.
    Cause, ya know… I stop at 29…
    I hope you have a wonderful day!
  82. 82
    bevy says:
    Celebrated the 11th anniversary of my 29th birthday in June!
  83. 83
    Nicole says:
    40 in April!! I dont "feel" that old either…until I look at my kids and my friend's kids. What is it about them that makes us feel our age?
  84. 84
    27, which I thought was pretty young until yesterday. The dentist told me I need to get my wisdom teeth taken out before I get "too far up there in age". I didn't think I was getting too far up there. Gotta go now. My prune juice is kickin' in.
  85. 85
    JD_Denver says:
    Happy birthday tomorrow.
    I'm 29 and "some months" – that's 29 and 367 months ;) .
    Or to put it another way, I'm "closer to 30 than to 20" (and so are 4 of my kids).
  86. 86
    Southern Gal says:
    Happy birthday!
    I gather from the comments that I'm one of the older ones…46. I don't feel that old. Your mind still thinks you're 20. That's what my mom tells me anyway.
  87. 87
    I have no problem at all saying I'm 33! My life officially started when I was 30, I think. I got married that year and at 31 had my son. Life gets better every year!
  88. 88
    Alas, I'm a 20-year old trapped in a 44-year old body.
    It's quite tragic, really. :-D
    Happy birthday, tomorrow!
  89. 89
    36
    Happy Birthday to you tomorrow. I'm not far behind. :)
  90. 90
    Debbie says:
    I turned 38 last June. I don't like being that close to 40 at all, but I've determined that since I can't escape it, I'm going to do something very adventurous and amazing to celebrate–something I've never done before or go somewhere amazing I've never been to before (no parties, thank you)… not sure yet what I'm going to do, but I'm thinking about it…
  91. 91
    Desiree says:
    I'm 30, which isn't as old as 37. Man, you're old.
  99. 99
    pendy says:
    At 57, I imagine I might be the oldest. No birthday up to 56 bothered me but for some reason I've had a hard time remembering I'm 57. Other than the aggravation of a slowing metabolism and thinning hair, I'd have to say that I'm having the time of my life.
  100. 100
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
    I am proudly 56……it's only a number. Age brings wisdom and wisdom builds character. At least that's how I look at it.
  101. 101
    Julie in GA says:
    I am 15 days shy of turning 34. I cannot BELIEVE I'm almost in my mid-thirties already!!! : )
  103. 103
    Manda says:
    28. I don't think I'll ever have a problem with saying what my age is. Why not just tell the truth, ya know?
  104. 104
    I have to say, it's kinda cool to see how old everyone is around here. I'm 39 and 7 months.
  105. 105
  107. 107
    Not to make you feel any older.. but I'm 21. haha
  109. 109
    Cheryl says:
    Have a happy birthday! I'm 30, I'll be 31 in January. Cheer up, you're only as old as you feel. If the number really hangs you up just say you're "thirty-seven-teen" :) I bet you wouldn't trade those years of wisdom for anything!!
  112. 112
    Melissa R says:
    42, and not ashamed. I am proud of where I've been and where I am going. Also, since I've been feeling so old, I am happy to have numbers to back up the aches and pains! Also, I like my wrinkles. I do. Ok, I'd take back the flawless skin if I could, but I do accept the wrinkles!
  113. 113
    35 and holding (my birthday is next month)
    ~Malia
  114. 114
    Peggy says:
    31. I didn't mind turning 31 as much as I minded 30 or even 26. Maybe it's true what they say about finding yourself in your 30's and fully embracing yourself in your 40's and beyond?
  115. 115
    Happy Birthday, Kristen! I'm one of your OLDer readers, from seeing all the comments, at 53. But, I have to say I'm proud of every one of them, since age does bring some wisdom with it, thankfully. :)
    Sometimes I wake up & say, how did I get to this age, it's just not possible. But, you take what comes with every birthday. As the old saying goes…it's better than the alternative.
    Oh, one more thing. I think my body was in the best shape at 35, it does start going downhill after that, at least for me it did. But, as long as you exercise & eat well, that really helps with staying as young as possible. You didn't ask for a book, did you?!
    Oh, and whoever started that rumor that 40 is the new 20 is smoking crack!
  116. 116
    Nicole says:
    29…Happy Birthday!
    :)
  117. 117
    Kimba says:
    I turned 38 last month.
    The funny part is that the entire year leading up to that birthday, I was telling people that I was 38. And I really believed it. A little basic math proved me wrong.
    So I had a birthday and I actually got younger! Yay!
    Happy birthday to you!
  118. 118
    30!
    Hope you have a very happy birthday – one filled with lots of love and lots of blessings!
  119. 119
    happy day to you! I'll be 47 in February but stopped counting a long time ago.
  120. 120
    Jeanette says:
    42 and don't worry about feeling old until all your kids are in high school or older (for me that was this year!) In my mind I'm still 24….
  121. 121
    Sharon says:
    Happy birthday! I am a whole 19 days older than you. I turned 37 on November 30th. It's scary being on the downside of 30.
    tonya says:
    happy, happy birthday!!
    i'm thirty-stinkin-five.
  123. 123
    24, as of 6 days after my little one was born. I was definitely getting worried that she was waiting to be my birthday present.
    Have a Happy Birthday!
  124. 124
    There's something about 37, I think. I just posted that I feel OLD turning 37 in the next two weeks. SO it's not just you!
    Julie says:
    I am 39 years old. I have three daughters who are 16, 11, and 10. They sometimes make me feel older than 39.
  127. 127
    Happy Birthday, ya Christmas baby, you.
    (you are not old)
    I'm 34. I think it's hilarious that I thought I was old when I turned 25. I'm sure I'll think it's hilarious that I think I feel old NOW when I'm 55 or 65 or 75…
  128. 128
    Ahem .. is this thing on? Crickets chirping … I am 41!!! I don't FEEL any different except when I am chasing my 3 yr old .. The 40's have been great so far … all the way around!!!!
  129. 129
    I am on the very dark side of 49 and darn glad to have made it this far. I look forward to celebrating every birthday, its my favorite holiday. My 40s was a tremendous season of life and brought many blessing, most notably my son.
    God bless you with all things good in the coming year Kristin. Celebrate every day. The best is yet to be.
  133. 133
    Amanda says:
    We're the same age!
    No, really, I have you beat by one year; I'm 38. I spent the four months before my birthday saying I was 38, then about three weeks before my birthday I realized that I was 37 and had wasted four months of it thinking I was 38. ACK!!!
    So, I decided I would spend the first four months of 38 saying I was 37, you know, to get those four months back. LOL
    I'm 40. Getting older; there's nothing to it…beats the alternative!
    Some say that kids keep you young, but I think I have aged with all the chaos… guess I need to work on being a kid again!!
    My son will be 25 on Dec. 19th so let's just say…I AM OLD! 37 is not even close to old and if you think it is, just lie about your age. It definitely works for me!
    I just turned 39 this month.
    And it sucks.
    Well, only slightly more than when I turned 37 and 38.
    :(
    Birthdays suck. but they are better than the alternative.
    Happy Happy my dear friend!!!!!!!
    You are just 2 sweet months younger than I am! Crazy but this year was the first year I actually acknowledged (told my kids) that I was no longer 29. :o ) That fuzzy math is where homeschooling pays off! My eldest was actually getting wise on me….. The math just wasn't working and she is insanely curious that things just make sence! SO, instead of just dodging the issue or pointing to something shiney (doesn't work like it used to; UGH!) I just told them. No biggie though they forgot within the day and haven't asked my age since! Funny how they remeber some things but not others! For me the number 37 was a bit crazy because it is getting so close to the big 40! That's OK my sister played a joke on me and baked me a cake, placed a #40 on the cake and posted it on facebook. Besides having to tell everyone I AM NOT 40, 37 didn't seem so bad after that. Happy Birthday!
    Cheer up! In some countries (like Liberia) the average life expectancy is something like 40-42. I am 44 and my kids remind me (a lot) that I could be on borrowed time!
    Turned 30 in October. 29 was harder for me than 30, so I'm think 31 is going to hit me big time!
