My favorite place to shop in the whole wide world is Marshalls with T.J.Maxx in a close second with Target, a dismal third place.
And since this is the first time I’ve ever ranked my stores of choice, I feel like Chick Fil A needs to be on the trophy platform too.
So, let’s just say when I swing by and grab a sweet tea, put my purse in a cart and walk around Marshalls or T.J. Maxx for half an hour, it’s my favorite date. With myself.
It’s my more for less gettin’ place.
TJMaxx/Marshall’s sent me a $50 gift card to shop with…I think I’m going to surprise my hubby with a gift. We usually don’t shop much for each other, but we have both been known to break all the rules.

Love the home section at Marshall's, the rugs, the pillows, love it all.
You are SO lucky to have opportunity to shop with, well, yourself! I was at Aldi today with my 3. At the checkout, still insisting we were NOT buying the doll my 6yo was still carrying around (after being told 800 times that I was NOT buying it), my 3yo picked up a jar of pasta sauce to put on the conveyer belt. Yep. Dropped it. Nope, I was THIS close to catching it – but didn't. After making sure she was safe and then apologizing to the checkout clerk, I turned to 6yo and took the doll from her, once again saying I was not buying it. Turned back around to the 3yo and 9yo, asked 9yo to bring 3yo around to me (the LONG way to avoid all the broken glass and mess). Finished unloading the cart and noticed that upset 6yo was GONE. Just GONE. She took off.
Sigh.
Everything worked out. But I am SO ready to go shopping without kids.

I adore these two stores and can ALWAYS find something. In fact, right now I'm under a coverlet from Marshall's! I do most of my gift shopping at one or the other.
