My favorite part of being a mom is watching my son learn something. I became a teacher because I liked watching kids faces light up when they learn something new. Being a mom is like that only 1,000 times better! My son is constantly learning new things and making new experiences. It is amazing!

One of my favorite parts of being a mother was always the before bedtime reading a book. Both boys had a favorite, Go Dog Go, One Fish Red Fish etc.
Now..years later I am still reading those same books to my young grandchildren.

I admire so much about my mother, but I think what I admire most about her is her consistent example of godly living. She always seems to know and do the right things, and appreciate that so much. I try to be the same kind of mother to my own son, but I know that I have a long way to go!
When they were babies…loved their bath/play time and the smell of Johnson's Baby Lotion…I still use it on my legs in the summer
Now that they are grown I love the sound of "Hey Mom" when they call home.
I love being a mom to my boys and I'm looking forward to mothering a girl through adoption. I love watching my boys grow and change.
I'm also so grateful for my step-mom. She chooses to stay and care for my invalid father even though they had a mostly horrible marriage. I'll never be able to thank her enough.
I love that my daughter has learned to blow kisses. She even makes a "muah" sound when she does it. It melts my heart. Love babies laugh, smile, when their eyes light up when they see someone they know/love…. Babies just make my heart turn to mush!!!

This movie preview was adorable. The thing I love about being a mother is just getting to watch my children grow in every way. As heartbreaking as it can be to see them get older it is so beautiful to watch.

My favorite thing about my mom is the way she loves me. Hubby and I were talking last night, and I was telling him about the time I was in the hospital after my freshman year of college. During my recovery, my mom would hold my cup of water up for me to drink before I had to tell her I was thirsty. She just knew. I love that about her.
My fave thing about my mom is the fact that she never let us down.. never has and I suppose never will. She may seem suffocating at times, but honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way!

Too many to list…but some top ones are hugs and snuggles, the smell of the kids after a bath/shower, and how they teach me every day what it looks like to really forgive (cause they forgive me constantly).

Being a mom is the best thing that ever happened to me. I love my son and daughter more than I ever could have imagined. I love the way they smell, their kisses and hugs and those wonderful giggles.
I love my mommy!! And I love being a mom….I love the smell and feel of a newborn baby, I love how inquisative toddlers are, I love to hear my kids laugh, it reminds me that I got to be part of a miracle, and I thank God that he let little old me help Him create these beautiful souls for Him.

My favorite thing about being a mom: spontaneous displays of love by my kids. Them saying I love you, or giving me hugs and kisses, squealing "Mommy!" when I walk in the door, coloring a picture for me, all the things they do without prompting, just because they love me.
My mom would iron a shirt for my dad every night before she went to bed and we would talk while she did it. It was usually around midnight and the house was quiet with just the two of us still up. I was always impressed by the little things my mom did to show love and provide service for others. She loved my dad and showed it, and I still love to iron because of her!
Laughing! Whether with my mom or my girls or all of us together, I just love it when we all laugh!

The thing I like most about my mother…..she is ALWAYS there for me no matter what and the the thing I like most about being a mother….I can't name just one because it is all so great…Waking them up, tucking them in, praying together, playing together, teaching them and learning from them. I can't imagine life without my two precious girls.

Probably my absolute favorite thing about motherhood is being my kids' most favorite person (along with Daddy). I love that they run to me when they are excited, scared, nervous, happy, etc. They are so little now, so I know I will not always be their favorite person in the world. So for now, I love it!!!!!

Cuddles. From birth to now, age 7, I have a cuddle bunny in my arms frequently. I am so lucky.
My favorite thing about being a mom is that I am EVERYTHING to this little person. I am her best friend (for now!), her source of nutrition, the kisser of boo-boos, the giver of hugs, the one she runs to, I am her everything. I know it won't always be like that, so I am soaking up every minute that I have it.

One of my favorite things about motherhood are tiny hands. Tiny hands that pat my arm, that touch my face, that grab my fingers. They are light as a feather but strong enough to remove the weight of the world, if only for a moment.
One of my favorites about being a mother- the little arms spontaneously wrapping around my neck and the little voice that follows with 'I love you mommy!'.
Another is when I go in to their room before I go to bed and tuck them in a second time. No matter how difficult a day, or how fussy a child has been- seeing them sweetly sleeping is amazing and good for my mommy heart.
