Today is our last day of summer.

You’ve been a real splash! We will miss you.

I grew up in California – summer there was the best – we spent a lot of time at the beach, riding bikes with friends, drinking slurpees, eating watermelon and fresh fruits galore, cruising up and down the coast for family vacation. 4th of July was my favorite holiday. Now I live in Phoenix. Summer here is something to endure until October. 4th of July is still my favorite holiday, but I enjoy it from indoors or if I’m lucky, from a different state or even a different country! My kids don’t seem to mind the heat as much as I do and they do spend plenty of time at local waterparks and pools to socialize and cool off!!

    Those pics are hilarious!

Living in Phoenix, Arizona, I am never sad to see summer go. My children aren’t old enough to go to school yet, so I’m already home with them, so no dreading them going back to school either.
Even with the heat, we’ve had an alright summer.

Amazing shots!!!! This has been a bittersweet summer for me, I am glad to see it gone. I look forward to the freshness of fall, the new beginnings. I so enjoy following your blog and pray I will someday get to meet you, hopefully this side of heaven so I will understand the importance of it to me. 😉

Those pics are AWESOME! This summer has been amazing – watching my young son learn to swim has been a true joy… and then watching him start kindergarten this week has been a (much more difficult to swallow) treat as well. Cheers to summer! – Stacey
