I’m heading to Birmingham, Alabama.
Compassion Bloggers are having a little reunion. I couldn’t miss it. Plus I’m rooming with Ann, Holley, Lisa-Jo and Robin and meeting dozens of my favorite Compassion bloggers!
We are meeting in conjunction with the Deeper Still Conference, so I have my Bible and highlighter. And I have my big hair on.
While y’all get ready to enjoy December’s first weekend (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??), here are a few links:
- Grace: The Give & Take– I’m writing over at Family Matters on Grace-Based Parenting
- MOD (mothers of daughters) Squad is selling a Mother/Daughter Journal-all the proceeds go to Mercy House!
- MOB (mothers of boys) Society is donating 10% from the sales of their Warrior Prayer Art to Mercy House!
- Roberta is selling her amazing rubber stamp collection and giving the proceeds to Mercy House!
- Christmas cards created by talented artists with proceeds (you guessed it) going to Mercy House!
- Make Christmas Count for Cliff-This is awesome!
Birmingham?!! My old hometown! Have fun and eat at Taziki’s if you get a chance. 🙂
Have a great weekend Kristen! Just got the newest post up with the stamps that are still available:

woo hoo! Let’s sell some rubbers 😉
oh snap! I’ll be there too!! I’ll look for you in all the other 12,000 or so women. 😉
Welcome to Birmingham! I am (sadly) unable to attend the conference, but I hope you enjoy our lovely city. I agree with Amanda, Taziki’s is a great option for quick Greek food. If you are in the market for some BBQ and white bread (a Birmingham tradition), check out Dreamland BBQ.
I hope y’all have a wonderful time at the conference!!
so very thankful for you. Praying for you. So thankful to follow this journey with you…. seeing how God is working and bringing everything about.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend at the Deeper Still conference…. wish I could join you!
Hugs,
I saw you but didn’t get to meet/talk to you. I am so sad!!! Hope you were encouraged and blessed by the weekend!
