You know how you fall in love with someone’s words online and then you meet them in person and you’re like YES! I’m not insane, they really are amazing?
If you’re a blogger, then the answer is yes.
If not, you might be confused and worried about me.

Well. That’s exactly what happened to me when I met Molly Piper the first weekend of December. I felt like we were old friends. She’s amazing. Read her blog.
Plus, the girl can rock a scarf. She showed me how. My head is BIG from all the fancy scarf-wearing. I asked her to show you too. And there’s BONUS footage you don’t want to miss!
GUEST VLOG:
You’re welcome.
What works for you?

Ahhh, I WONDERED what Miss MollyGoodGolly was gonna be doing on a Vlog…I shoulda guessed! Love it!
But the bonus footage of Abraham at the end? Well….um….
If at first you don’t succeed…
Fun. Great idea for a post!
(off to look for a scarf to try it myself!)
Thanks for sharing this! I am always at a lose for tying a scarf. By the way, I love Mollys blog. Great footage of Abraham! I was kind of hoping it would be O but that was still pretty good.
What’s funny is that he was kinda making fun of me when I kept messing up for the video. But then he tried it after I got done and realized it’s not so easy to do, especially in front of a camera!
He cracks me up.
he’s such a good sport! loved it!
Kristen, thanks so much, as always, for the great linky party! I wanted you to know I referenced your post from several months back when you wrote about blog post writing/planning in link #45. Thanks for all the information and inspiration. God bless you and yours in 2011!
Thanks for hosting this blog party. Off to watch the video; I’m terrible at tying scarves!
Wow! That is awesome! I got a fancy scarf from a friend who bought it for me when she was in Paris, but I hardly wear it. Now with the Christmas season over (the scarf is pink), maybe I can try it like this. Thanks!
Hi Kristen
I found your blog through It’s A Blog Party and I love your style! I look forward to following you, and invite you to join me at Create With Joy!

This is my first time to post a WFMW post in ages. Thanks for hosting!
What an awesome vlog. I got two new scarfs to wear at Blissdom. Now, I have another way to tie them! Awesome!!!
I NEEDED this! Thank you, Kristen!
I love that scarf tie! I definitely will be wearing my scarf like that today.
I’ve been lucky enough to meet a few of my cyber friends. The amazing thing is that, instead of ‘oh, it’s so nice to meet you’ starting the conversation, you just start talking as if you’ve been seeing each other in person for years. It’s one great thing about the internet–meeting (whether in person or just via e-mails) people you would never have been lucky enough to even know about ‘back in the day’!
That was such a cute video!
I LOVE the video! So great–and her husband? at the end is hilarious!!! I have to say–I learned something new! I wear a scarf practically every single day, and this is a new “tie” for me. I am going to use it TODAY. Thanks!
Thanks for the laugh and the great scarf tie idea!! I wonder if I could get my husband to do that. Hmmmm…..
Super fun way to tie a scarf! I am definitely going to try this tip!
And Abraham is hilarious – great vlog!
that’s a RIOT!

and now I have to re-watch it because Abraham totally confused me. It looked like he was doing it the right way, and then…nope. So funny!
I love the video. Helpful and hilarious.
I loved the man trying to do it. That is what I’d be doing I am sure!
Thanks for the fun vlog.
The outtakes of Abe are TOO much!!
And I love how she ties her scarf!
Thanks for sharing.
Get that boy a deep v-neck t-shirt & a worship leader position stat!
faux hawk not nec.
The video was so funny
Reminded me of DH trying to tie his own tie…back in the day…he’d have to stand in front of a mirror to do it…lol
Hi Kristen! I just discovered your blog carnival! I think it is so funny how you can have some of the same readers and read the same blogs as me, but I never found your great wednesday linky! I am sharing a great article on baby steps you can take to make your life better and that certainly works for me! All the best! Alex@amoderatelife
I love scarves, but I never wear them. Why? Because I can’t figure out how! I’m going to have to try out this look…
thanks for hosting! i LOVE LOVE LOVE scarves and wear them… even on our warm sunny “winter” days in AZ!
thanks for the video!!
Oh my gosh!! I watched this with the sound off since I’m in bed with my boys who are sleeping… I had to burry my head in the pillow I was giggling so hard!
Thank you for the vlog. The other day I was wondering how people tied their scarves that way, couldn’t figure it out, so I went with the old fashion way. LOVE the bonus footage. It is not safe for me to drink my coffee, I’m still laughing, and afraid I’ll spew over my keyboard.
Yep, I’m a little behind in my reader but loved the video. I love the idea of scarves and they look so awesome on everyone else and dorky on me! I’m going to try this tie. I have the perfect scarf to dress up my black maternity dress….wish me luck!
Any more videos like that, and you’ll have to rename this “Doesn’t Work for Abraham” Wednesday!
