God’s Heart For You {Giveaway}

*Update on Winner* Congrats to random comment #144 Marcy!

I’m reading a new book. It’s by my bedside, near the tub, within finger’s grasp…

It’s a devotional I didn’t know I needed. I’m being reminded with every page of God’s great love for me. Oh, sure, I know He loves me. But sometimes I think subconsciously there are strings attached to that love–If I, when I…and there’s not. He loves me. All of me. Simple (and profound) as that.

In God’s heart, I am….

That’s my word.

1)  Think of your answer to “In God’s heart I am…”

Holley is more than just the author of some amazing books. She’s my friend. Someone who asks “How are you, really?” And I can tell her- even when the answer is yucky. She asked that during my health crisis this summer. I let my guard down and told her exactly how I was doing.

I love the heart God has given her for women. She gets us. This book will touch you deeply and lead you home. To Him.

I’m giving away a copy of the book, God’s Heart For You and two beautiful items (winner’s choice, $50+ value) from the Blessings Unlimited, God’s Heart For You Collection (see all choices here):

and some beautiful greeting cards, for you to encourage those around you:

In God’s heart, I am ___________________.

So, what’s your word?

Please leave a comment with your word (and then go participate over at Holley’s if you want!):

This giveaway ends on Thursday.

:) Amen, what an amazing promise made possible through Jesus Christ. Thank you, God.

oh I love In God’s heart, I am enough!!! That is perfect. But to not steal from you…

In God’s heart, I am cherished.

Oh I would really love to read this book! This is something that I have struggled with so much since becoming a Christian. I always have this view that I am never enough, or that God will Love me if I do this, say this, accomplish this, etc. I guess my word would be In God’s heart, I am Adequate.

I have never heard of this book, but it sounds wonderful. I completely understand you when you say you can answer honestly how you are…no matter how yucky. I have struggled with that in the past. Essentially, we are liars when we don’t truthfully tell others who ask how we are. We are also cheaters because if we don’t tell the truth, we rob others of the opportunity to pray or help us out. This is why I have tried in the past to change how I answer. Even if we say, “It could be better.” It opens the door to help or encouragement.

I would love to read this book and receive these gifts.

As soon as I read your words…….my mind started racing around trying to figure out my word.
All I can come up with is good enough. So I’ll turn it into that one word you asked for—GOODNUFF!

In God’s heart, I am good enough. I so need to read this book, sometimes it’s a struggle feeling that I am good enough.

You know, I’m having a hard time thinking of a word for this. I know in my mind that God loves me but it’s hard to get my heart and my mind on the same page. The more that I think about it, the more frustrated I get because I’m trying to limit myself. So, I’m going to stop here and say that in God’s hear I’m acceptable. (even though I may not feel like it’s true)

In a time of my life when I’m coming to terms with the fact that I may never be enough for the (earthly) one I love, I am choosing to hold to the promise that in God’s heart, I am enough.
(don’t mean to steal that one, but it’s pretty much my anthem right now. :)

In God’s heart, I am REDEEMED. Undeservingly loved, held, raised up- no matter what. I have to ask, where did you get the ‘Press in, press on and never give up’ plaque? I looked on the Blessings Unlimited site and didn’t see it. I really like it. Thank you.

In God’s Heart I am perfect. He sees me through the lens of his Son who died for me and redeemed me. Some day, when I get to heaven I will be perfect. For now it is great to know God already knows the end and sees me as I will someday be.

  12. 125

In God’s heart I am treasured–in a world where it is easy to be overlooked and unloved and also due to the fact that I am often very unloveable this is an amazing concept to think about!

In God’s heart I am cherished. Except right now it feels more like forgotten. I’ve been looking forward to this book.
