P.S. Maureen is still sick, but on the mend. I wish I could go into details, but in an effort to protect our girl’s privacy, I can only ask you to pray for Sarah. She’s our newest girl and is in the hospital. Please pray for her and her unborn baby.

I’m so sad because I had no idea you were going to be at Just Run for a Just Cause this weekend! I was supposed to run that race before I broke my darn foot. You know Suzanne is a good friend of mine but she hadn’t mentioned your booth or anything. I would have been happy to help out. Next time!

First of all, I love the pictures of all the beautiful things the girls are making! What treasures. Secondly, I will pray for Maureen and also for Sarah and her baby. Also, I wanted to tell you about our pastor’s sermon today and how it made me think of you. It was on “mercy”. He said “mercy is not empathy…mercy is ACTION”. He had a quote by Dr. Kent Hughes that said, “Mercy exists when something is done to alleviate distress.” I just wanted to share with you how it made me think of Mercy House and all you are doing. You don’t just have “empathy” for these girls, you are ACTING on their behalf and SHOWING them mercy with real change – GOD’s mercy. If you want a link to then entire message, I’d be happy to get it for you…but God bless you for what you are doing, Kristen. God bless you all. Thank you for showing mercy in this ministry.

    Love in Christ,
    Kelly in KS

The shop looks great! I am considering purchasing the Africa in black frame. I like the stand it is on, where can I get one? I live in Warsaw and I am not exactly allowed to put holes in our walls. I also like the necklaces…so much good stuff for a good cause.
