Today is November 1.
I don’t want to skip thru to Christmas like the stores do. I want to be grateful for each day.
Every day of November, I’ll be posting something I’m thankful for. I hope you’ll pause with me and leave a comment with one thing you appreciate about your day.
It won’t be longer than a sentence and it might just be a word.
Today: I am thankful my sixth grader invited me to lunch and hugged me goodbye.

I am doing this on my FB page too! Love the idea! My day one reads: To prep for Thanksgiving, a Daily Thankful. Today: that the kids are at school and cannot guard their Halloween loot! I am sure I will get more sincere as the month passes, but I have never been one to pass up a chance for a laugh!

I am thankful for my husband! He has a difficult job…12 hour days, constant physical demands, swing shifts, etc. Yet, when he came in this morning from his night shift he said, “I’m so thankful I have a job.”
I am thankful for all of the people who are making calls and sending e-mails to help my husband find a new job since his company is downsizing and he will be unemployed very soon.

Yesterday I was thankful my almost 13 yr old son smiled and waved goodbye to me before getting out of the car at junior high. Made my day!!
