“You inspire me” she says as she hands me a bag full of baby clothes for Mercy House. ”I wish I could be like you, but I’m just a mom.”
Her words sounded like an apology.
I offered a feeble smile.
Because at the moment, I didn’t even want to be me.

Kristin, You are amazing! Even if you are “just another mom and wife”. You are amazing because you see who you are and you know who you should be. You are amazing because you know how you are sometimes isn’t who you should be. You are amazing because you know you need to repent and change. It is because you know how you ought to be and you strive to be that way.
I have those days too and I think I am pretty unamazing. I am hardest on myself. It is my being hard on myself that causes me to be hard on those I love.
