It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas {TVP Giveaway}

UPDATE: Congrats to Tara, comment #90, you have been selected as the winner.

I set up my Nativity this week. I just couldn’t wait another day. I needed to focus on The Why since it gets lost in our world and my heart. I love Christmas as much as the next girl, but I have to make a conscious effort to make it about Christ, especially since stores were bursting at the seams with THE HOLIDAY before Halloween….

A few years ago, I gave away half of my Christmas decor and lights and stuff. I had too much and it was suffocating. Since then, I’ve tried not to replace all the space and instead only purchase if it’s meaningful. Sentimental. Something to cherish and pass on…

I think that’s why I love The Vintage Pearl’s ornaments so much. These keepsakes are something that last forever:

These ornaments are a thoughtful and sentimental reminder of what really matters during the upcoming season.

Today, I’m giving away a beautiful ornament and a $50 gift certificate to on lucky winner.

Check out the other gorgeous personalized Christmas ornaments over at The Vintage Pearl and leave a comment here telling me your favorite.

This giveaway ends on Thursday.

Just started reading your blog (recommended by a good friend). Love your blog! :) Like the ornaments, too. I try only to have meaningful Christmas decorations. Love the snowflake best. Thanks for the giveaway.

I like both the Christmas tree and the snowflake ornament. I also like the dog bone since we lost our 15 year old dog this year.

I also downsized our Christmas decorations when we moved overseas. It makes the ones we have even more special. Now I am much more intentional about what I buy to add to our collection.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

Timely post! Something I’ve been pondering as well since November has hit. I think the two snowflake ornaments are gorgeous, as is the Christmas tree. So hard to choose!

I love the vintage snowflake ornament. You know I need it. I’d use the gift cert for the wrap ring – it would hold the names of all 10 grandchildren!!! :)

I love the silver snowflake cutout ornament. The few decorations I do put out are all snowflake and snowman themed so I can leave them up for months on end. The snowflake cutout would fit right in. :-)

My favorites are the ones you personalize with all your family’s names like the Vintage Snowflake. When we struggled with infertility I always looked forward to being able to have ornaments with our kids names on our tree.

I have to admit the the wrap ring w/kids names on them is my FAVE! it isn’t an ornament for a tree, though, so i’ll say the snowflake one is my fave. Thanks for the giveaway! :) (oh, i came over here cause i read your (in)courage post!)

I’m tearing up just typing this. :)

I just ordered the Africa necklace (with Brazil as the country instead of Africa) for my 16 year old sister for Christmas. We (my husband, six children and I) are moving to Brazil in less than 2 months to work with YWAM in their street children ministry. I felt that necklace would be the perfect gift for my sister who is going to greatly miss us (as we will her).

As far as ornaments go, I REALLY like the snowflake one. :)

What a great idea! I didn’t know they made ornaments. I like all the family ornaments, but maybe the Christmas tree or the wreath the most. We have a new baby this year, so it would be lovely to have a new family ornament for this special Christmas.

I like the snowflake. My daughter’s name is unusual, so custom items are the only way she ever gets to have her name on anything. :)
