The Kitchen iPad Rack {Heck of a Giveaway}

UPDATE: Comment #1035 was randomly selected as the lucky winner of this giveaway. Congratulations Hillary S. – an email has been sent your way.

[Hint: You'll want to read this post to the very end!]

Our kitchen is the busiest place in our home. And by busy I really mean dirty.

Eating. Homeworking. Snacking. Cooking. Drawing. Cleaning. And now Googling.

Googling?

I bought my hubby an iPad for his 40th birthday a couple of years ago. Now that’s a gift. He loves it and uses it daily. It’s really become a family iPad. He shares well with others. It’s such a portable resource and is handy in every room of the house. The kids use it for researching their science project, I use it for recipes and my hubby watches the Texans stomp all over other teams.

And now, a new little tool has taken the iPad limits to the max. It’s been called the missing link to making the most of your iPad in the kitchen. I give you:

When my new advertiser sent us The Kitchen iPad Rack, we quickly and easily mounted the plexi glass shelf to make cooking with the iPad easier.

Or watching football while you’re supposed to be setting the table. Ahem.

Product Description: Super-easy to use, it stores away in the cabinet when not in use and pops into place when you’re ready to cook.

The Original Kitchen iPad Rack is constructed of solid acrylic with a beauty to match any kitchen.

And get this, with every order this holiday season, $5 goes to Mercy House. Awesome, huh?

Some of you may be thinking, well, Kristen, this is fantastic, for people who own an iPad. Well, in celebration of such a handy kitchen tool (makes a great Christmas gift!), this generous company is giving away an iPad rack and an iPad2 to one very lucky reader today!!!! Yes, you read that correctly!

    Wow! What a great giveaway.
The iPad rack sounds great and I enjoyed visiting their website. Really cool that they gave the alternatives to what else could be used for the same purpose.
Thanks for the giveaway and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

  2. Shanalea says

That looks amazing. If I ever get an ipad I would for sure need this. It would prevent quite a few disasters from happening.

  3. Christy C. says

Thanks for the opportunity to win this iPad rack for the kitchen! It’s a much better option than laying it flat on the counter or propping it against something.

Wow, I have no shot of winning with all these entries! BUT I live overseas and would LOVE an ipad because all things electronic make life so much easier over here! And then, of course I’d want the rack to go in my kitchen to save my laptop and counter space! Awesome…thanks for the chance to win!

My husband and I were just discussing selling our iPad a few days ago. I posed the idea of finding some kind of stand so that I can use it in the kitchen (I have LOTS of recipes on Pinterest!) – and along comes this post! Love this idea (and would love an upgrade from our 1st gen iPad)!

I lug my laptop into the kitchen every time I want to use a recipe from the internet. Your setup is much better. Really cool! (not entering giveaway, just commenting!)

  7. Beth says

This is such a great idea! I run back and forth from the kitchen to my computer…trying to remember ingredients. This would be awesome! Thanks for the giveaway!

I love the option for two or three mounting locations! This is great. I’m usually using my phone in the kitchen since I don’t have an ipad…but someday!

  9. Lorie D says

What an amazing way to use the ipad. I too often print recipes and then lose them and have to reprint them, etc. This would make using recipes easier. I would love to win!

What a great idea! I do not have an iPad and have been wanting one for quite a while – this would be a great gift for the family! Thanks for the opportunity!

  11. Lia says

Amazing! I have all of my recipes on my computer, which is great, except for having it take up huge chunks of space on the counter, or having to walk back and forth across the kitchen to see the recipe! I’ve wanted an iPad for a long time for just this purpose, although I’m sure I could find other uses for it, too :-)

  12. Ivy says

Thanks for the opportunity. I checked out the Original Kitchen iPad Rack’s website. I’m forever hunched over and squinting at my little phone screen for recipes while cooking.

  13. Lora says

I visited their website. It looks like a great idea. I was concerned that the iPad might slip off of it, but after watching the toddler take a swipe at it, it looks like it will stay in place. :) I would love to win both the iPad and the rack. Thanks!

  14. Michelle Parker says

I would love to win this for my hubby for Christmas! I’m pretty sure he would share it and the Kitchen iPad rack would definitely get lots of use.

  15. Debbie says

Wow! This is an amazing contest! Would be great for cooking, and school work.

P.S I hope i can still win living in Canada.

  16. Melissa says

what a great idea… i would LOVE and iPad AND the kitchen iPad rack- it would make things a little easier in the kitchen with the lack of counter space i have!!!

  17. Elena says

What a super idea! I knew there was a better way to mount my ipad without taking up valuable counter-space and risking splashes on my ipad! I love that the ipad can be placed on the mount horizontally AND vertically. It’s ingenious! And the acrylic is beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win!

  18. says

I have been working up to buying an iPad for our homeschool, if I win this I won’t have to buy one! AND no more bringing my laptop in the kitchen to cook recipes I find on Pinterest!

  19. Kristen M. says

Under $30 is a great price. I love the idea of using the iPad to follow recipes in the kitchen and I’d want a rack to protect the device and keep it out of kitchen messes.

  20. Megan M. says

This is such a simple thing, but what a great idea! I love that it’s made in the US and their sharing some of their profits.

  21. cheryl says

I like the idea of having thus in our kitchen. We spend a lot of time here, and I can watch the kids use of this. Since I don’t have an iPad, this would be a great family gift!!!

  22. Nicole says

This would be awesome in our kitchen! You could also use it for recipe books and printed recipes! Or even my phone when it’s playing music for me!

  23. Jendra says

This was such a fabulous design idea! Thanks for the chance to win one (and even if I don’t, it’s only $26!! awesome!) and an iPad, too!

  24. Katie says

    Hi!
This is not exactly related to the post, but I saw that you have a couple stacks of dish towels on your counter and wondered if you use those instead of paper towels? If so, how do you separate the ones that might have bacteria on them from cleaning up uncooked foods? Do you wash them with all the rest of your towels? Just thinking of switching from paper towels to rags/using cloth napkins instead of paper ones all the time and thought maybe you do that too? Just curious!
