Thank you so much for the reminder that God loves me for who I am and not for what I do! Because I am ashamed of some of the things that I do and they make me feel such guilt. I really appreciate your post and need to keep in mind that I am a child of God and he loves me unconditionally!

Thank you for the encouraging words…they spoke to my heart and reminded me that His love is unconditional. Just what I needed to start my day.

I, too, needed to have today’s message. I have a family that has judged me so unfairly and will not even let me see my grandchildren that I love so dearly. It doesn’t matter what they say or feel, I do know God loves me as I am and forgives me. Thanks be to God! Alleluia!

I have struggled with the “doing” part many times in my life. It’s such a hard concept to learn because by the world’s standards we always have to perform. God says “Just because you are, I love you”. There’s nothing we can do to earn His favour. He’s done it all, we just accept it. Hard for us performance driven people to grasp.
