    Kristen,

I love what you are doing with Mercy House and we have chosen to support it financially a few times. So, this is even more awesome – a way to partner WITH you. WI wll be speaking to my husband and praying about this one.

I wanted to also let you know that we are about 2/3 of the way through Running for My Life (just began it a few daysa go, the girls beg me to read more and more) and it has been, by far, the most influential book we’ve ever read as a family. I homeschool my 9 and 11 year old daughters and I am often pulling out books to try to give them a broader perspective on the world we live in. This March my husband and I are taking our first *together* mission trip (he’s gone before) and we pray that maybe next year we can take the girls. This book is opening up our eyes, ahead of time, to how the rest of the world lives. It is also moving our hearts to want to be hope for other people.

And that is what you are, Kristen, you are HOPE. You bring hope to the ones who believe their life to be hopeless. You and your family are the hands and feet of Jesus. I am so grateful that God uses people like you, not only to reach out to the lost and the hopeless, but also to open the eyes and the hearts of people like me.

May God bless your every step in this ministry and may you always continue to follow in His path.
