I’m saying yes to being me, to being the mother, wife, and me that I want to be, can be, and should be… which means I’m not perfect, I have flaws, I have failures, but I accept them, own them, and learn from the. I’m saying yes to me :)

My husband and I just said yes to a very difficult move we felt like God was asking us to make. My husband was a pastor in PA, and felt like God was saying that his time there was done and we were to move onto a new place and new life. So, after much prayer and counsel, we felt God leading us to Portland, Or. We moved our family of 4 boys, away from all that they’ve known and away from a community that we’ve been a part of for 18 years. We didn’t go, kicking and screaming, but it has still been a very difficult thing for us to do. We are looking with anticipation to the future and what God has for our family.

I say YES to helping and serving others. I want to say YES to helping your girls have a life, to have a say about their life and to learn to live for Jesus. I want to help equip girls/ladies to have the means to be independent so they don’t have to live enslaved to any man illegally.
