My Story

After falling asleep several times with candles still lit, I knew I needed something that was safe and wouldn’t burn my house down. I had heard of Scensty, but it wasn’t until I smelled the Blueberry Cheesecake scent that I decided to host a Scensty party. It smelled amazing, I had to have it (and what better way than to get it for FREE with the hostess credits)! I started looking through the catalog and there were so many cute warmers and a lot of scents that looked like they would smell amazing.

I contacted a consultant and had some family and a few friends over for a couple house to browse and smell all of the sample scents. By the time they were all done putting in their orders, I received over $150 in FREE product and 4 items at HALF price! How simple! I started thinking right then how easy it would be to make a little extra money each month to cover my new love of Scentsy. The products honestly sold themselves (I had a basket party and there wasn’t a presentation at my party)! What I love most about it is that it isn’t just for females. They make several warmers and scents that guys will love too!

2nd Benefit Day: Trigger Memory Products

This is a fantastic resource!

2nd Benefit Day: Baby Be Blessed

Baby Be Blessed makes the most adorable dolls! Each handmade doll has the Word of God printed on a patch sewn to their belly.

2nd Mercy Benefit: The Adopt Shoppe

Who doesn’t love a great piece of jewelry? Goes to a great cause…even better!

The Adopt Shoppe is an Etsy boutique fundraiser to help shop owner Kate and her family fund their adoption. Kate is passionate about orphans and providing a better life for children in need. She has created unique prints, inspirational tiles, fabric bracelets with custom hand-stamped tags, wooden tile necklaces, colorful leather and bead bracelets, and paper bead necklaces made by women of Uganda.

Each piece of work in The Adopt Shoppe is designed to be a “billboard for your heart.”

The Adopt Shoppe has donated a $75 gift certificate to their online store to benefit The Mercy House.

The Stanley-Fisher House, one of the first houses ever built in Texas, is listed as a Texas Historic Landmark. In 1832, Samuel Rhoads Fisher, of Philadelphia, built the house for his family. Fisher, one of 300 colonists recruited by Stephen F. Austin, was First Secretary of the Republic of Texas Navy and a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. It is very likely that Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston were guests in the house from time to time.

The house has withstood the tests of time and elements, and has been restored to its original splendor with modern amenities for your comfort. 2nd Mercy Benefit Day: Nov. 7

Welcome! Tomorrow is going to be a BIG day! Every 30 minutes or so, all day long, a new auction will be published. There are some amazing items, so get ready to shop mercy (hint: perfect Christmas presents).

How to bid:

When you see something you love, just leave a comment with the AMOUNT you are willing to pay. There is no shipping cost or minimum bid on any of these items, so you might just get a great deal. Please only leave a comment if you are bidding. If you bid, you will want to check back often to see if you’ve been outbid.

Please leave a current email address in case you have the final bid. Winners will be announced on Nov. 11 and payment can be made via Paypal or by check.

All bids close by 11pm CST on Nov. 9.
