Requirements: Meet basic criteria for joining (You must be a member of any of our Fair Trade Friday clubs or be a current Mercy House Global monthly donor. If you’re not, simply sign up for one or both and then apply!)
Represent: Engage in a variety of ways in your community
Reach: Every Ambassador will be connected with an MHG artisan in Kenya for prayer and encouragement.
Reward: Earn points in a variety of ways to shop the online store, receive free FTF boxes based on referrals, earn discounts on product, and accumulate points for a trip to Kenya based on your activity.
Rally: Join quarterly Ambassador calls with MHG Founder and Team Leaders, and attend an annual Ambassador Gathering at MHG in Magnolia, Texas.

Respond: When you’re accepted into the Ambassador Program, you will become an Ambassador for MHG. You’ll receive a Welcome/Starter Kit that will include MHG and FTF brochures to share, information on how to earn points, prayer cards for the Kenyan artisan you’ve been paired with, and exclusive fair trade product for you to wear and enjoy.
Requirements: You must remain in a Fair Trade Friday subscription club or be a recurring monthly donor. You must also represent MHG in some way every six months in your community and attend two calls a year to remain active as an Ambassador.
Represent: You already love and wear MHG so this should be easy. One of the key proponents of being an Ambassador is introducing MHG to your community – whether that’s through hosting a Fair Trade market in your home, church, etc., or setting up an info table at a local community event. We also value online interaction and engagement through social media, blog posts, sharing weekly flash sales, twice a year blowout sales, live unboxing of FTF each month, and looking for creative new ways to share about creating dignified jobs.
Reach: We will pair you with an MHG artisan in Kenya from Street Hope, Have Hope, Muijiza. You will receive a picture and prayer card and have the ability to send her encouraging notes and possibly meet her one day! You’ll also be able to share these cards with people as you talk more about the product.
Reward: When you submit ways you’re representing MHG in our Ambassador Portal, once a month, you’ll be awarded points in our online store and that means coupons and ultimately free product. For main box FTF members, you’ll be able to automatically see the reward when new club members sign up under your link.
Rally: We believe Ambassadors need community, inspiration, encouragement, and access. Four times a year, we will have a scheduled online, face-to-face call-in for MHG Ambassadors with Kristen Welch (founder), Danea Gail (staff member), and Mary Carver (volunteer coordinator). In June 2020, we will host our first, annual in-person Ambassador Gathering!

What the Ambassador Program is: The Ambassador Program is a group of representatives located across the USA who are already actively supporting Mercy House in a variety of ways. We want to put resources and tools in your hand to take your commitment to a new level to help us provide more dignified jobs and rally more support for Mercy House Global.
What the Ambassador Program isn’t: A paid job. But we do offer an amazing points incentive program, access to new product, and a deeper relationship with our founder and staff.
