2020: When the floor beneath us figuratively disappeared two years ago with the onset of the pandemic, we fought hard to continue the empowering work of Mercy House Global around the globe.
2021: When the floor, walls, and the entire structure of our Transition Maternity Home in Kenya was destroyed in a fire in January 2021, Mercy House Global lost 1/3 of our assets and we begged God to turn beauty out of ashes.
2022: When the floor literally collapsed beneath us two weeks ago in our USA warehouse in Magnolia, Texas, causing a sudden and unplanned evacuation to a nearby church for the foreseeable future, we continued our plan of obedience and raised more than $100,000 for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
If time has taught us anything, it’s that we never know when the floor under our feet may fail. But it’s in the falling, we might just find our way.
We grow in the darkness.
Mercy House Global has been in existence for 12 years and I think it’s safe to say–the last few have made the early hard years feel easy. We are still trying to recover from losing ground —literally.
Mercy House Global is unique in its mission—we not only respond through donations to huge global crisis’ from Kenya to Ukraine to resettled Afghan refugees; we also come along side marginalized women in crisis —personally, one by one. From young teen moms in Kenya, to grandmothers at weaving looms, to Syrian candlemakers, Afghan women in need of English classes to Ukrainian pastors– we provide dignified jobs as a gateway to introduce the Gospel and meet immediate physical needs like food and rent.
We do both because both work.
You’ve been there when the floors under our feet as a ministry have disappeared, burned and caved—you have responded. Thank you. look you in the eyes and say those heartfelt words.
The monthly subscription clubs at Fair Trade Friday—the main vehicle we use to provide many, many jobs and support our maternity homes in Kenya, wants to grow with you.
Honestly, the floor feels a little unsteady in light of the economy, supply chain issues, inflation and war.
Today, we have 200 open memberships that represent 200 floors that need shoring.
As a thank you gift for joining, we will send you an amazing Fair Trade gift along with your first box. Plus, use the code jointheclub and get an additional $5 off.
Would you consider filling your home and meeting your gift-giving needs with fair trade items that provide so much good in our hurting world?
I have no doubt the ground beneath us will continue to shake and quake in this difficult endeavor. I honestly expect the enemy to try to and stop God’s good work
Falling has led us to Jesus. Join us at ground-level as we continue to follow Him.

Hi. I do a lot of sports and sweating has become an integral part of my life. It causes me the most discomfort. I went to https://ways2well.com/blog/what-is-the-lowest-dose-of-progesterone-for-hrt and they told me Progesterone plays an important role in regulating body temperature and sweating, especially during menopause. Now everything is much better and I can continue to do all the things I want to do without worrying about sweating.
